Tehzeeb 2003

Tehzeeb is a story about two estranged sisters, Shabbo (Urmila Matondkar) and Aalia (Shabana Azmi). After their father passes away, Shabbo returns to her childhood home in India after living abroad for many years. She discovers that her sister Aalia has been living with their stepmother, Najma (Kirron Kher), who is guilty of neglecting them both. Shabbo's presence causes a rift between the two sisters, as each had different memories of their shared past. Despite their differences, Shabbo and Aalia eventually form a bond and confront Najma together. Through this journey, Shabbo learns to forgive and move on from her painful past. In the end, the sisters accept their new relationship and embrace each other's love.
