Te3n 2016

Te3n is a 2016 Indian mystery thriller film directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vidya Balan in the lead roles. The story follows John Biswas (Bachchan), an aged grandfather who has been searching for his missing granddaughter, Angela, for the past 8 years. When he finds out that a local church has been vandalized with a message related to his grandchild, he teams up with a suspended police officer, Martin Das (Siddiqui) and a young lawyer, Sarita Sarkar (Balan). Together, they embark on a journey to uncover the truth behind Angela's disappearance and track down the person responsible for it. Along the way, they have to confront the dark secrets of Kolkata's criminal underworld as well as their own personal demons. In the end, the trio succeeds in finding out the truth, but at what cost? Te3n poignantly shows how three different people from different walks of life come together in search of justice and closure, and how sometimes the truth can be more painful than one can imagine.
