Tapasya 1976

Tapasya is a 1976 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Gulzar and starring Parikshit Sahni, Raakhee and Amol Palekar. The story follows the life of Tapasya, a young village girl who is deeply in love with her childhood friend, Balbir. After being forced to marry a much older man, she struggles to remain faithful.
