:_The_Unsung_Warrior Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior is the story of a brave Maratha warrior, Tanhaji Malusare. He is a trusted lieutenant of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and the leader of the Maratha army. The movie begins in 1670, when the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb sends Udaybhan Singh Rathore to seize the strategic hill fortress of Kondana (modern-day Sinhagad). Tanhaji is entrusted with the task of recapturing the fortress. Despite being outnumbered, Tanhaji and his army are able to successfully reclaim the fort for the Marathas. However, during the battle, Tanhaji is killed by Udaybhan. Despite his death, Tanhaji's legacy lives on and he is remembered as an unsung hero who fought for the freedom of India from the oppressive Mughals.
