Taaqat 1995

Taaqat is a 1995 Indian drama film directed by Dilip Gulati. The story revolves around two brothers, Anil (Mukesh Khanna) and Raju (Suniel Shetty), who live in an impoverished village with their parents. Anil is the elder brother who works hard to provide for the family while Raju is irresponsible and lazy. In order to make ends meet, Anil takes up a job at a factory in the city and entrusts Raju to take care of the family. When Anil returns to his village after a few months, he is dismayed to see that Raju has not taken his responsibility seriously. He decides to take matters into his own hands and forces Raju to start working instead of just lying around all day. With both brothers working together, they are able to turn things around and transform their lives. In the end, Anil and Raju prove that with hard work and determination, anything is possible.
