Suraj Ka Satvan Ghoda 1992

Suraj Ka Satvan Ghoda is a 1993 Indian drama film directed by Shyam Benegal. It is based on the novel of the same name by Dharmavir Bharati. The story follows an impoverished man, Suraj, who lives in an unnamed Indian city with his mother and younger brother. His father has died, leaving him to support the family. He gets a job as an animal-cart driver, and soon falls in love with Salma, a prostitute. However, their love is not approved of by society, and they are faced with many obstacles.
