Story

Sur Sangam is a 1985 Hindi drama film directed by Govind Moonis. It tells the story of two young men, Gopal and Raju, who are both aspiring singers in the classical style of Indian music. Gopal is from a poor family, while Raju is the son of a rich and powerful man who is determined to make his son a star. Gopal and Raju eventually meet and become friends, and when Gopal's singing talent is revealed, Raju encourages him to pursue it. Along the way, they both face opposition from their families, who want them to focus on their studies instead of music. In the end, they find success as singers, and Gopal even earns a scholarship to continue his training. In the process, the two boys learn that real friendship transcends class and wealth, and that talent can endure despite all obstacles.
