Straight 2009

Straight follows the story of two best friends, Nick and Charlie, who are living in a small town in California. When Nick's father is killed in an accident, he becomes the primary caretaker of his disabled mother. In order to make ends meet, Nick starts selling drugs to support his family. Charlie soon finds out what he's doing and agrees to help him out. As their business grows, they face pressure from local drug dealers and end up in danger. With the help of a lawyer, they eventually beat the charges and build a successful business. However, when one of them gets arrested for possession, they are forced to confront the consequences of their actions. Ultimately, they learn the importance of friendship and loyalty and choose to pursue a more legitimate life.
