Shiv Shastri Balboa, a gentle retired man from India, arrives in the US to live with his successful son (think cozy suburban house, two kids, the whole shebang). A die-hard Rocky fan, his biggest dream is to conquer the iconic Philadelphia steps, emulating his idol. But amidst unpacking and navigating cultural clashes, he feels adrift.

An unlikely friendship blossoms between Shastri and Elsa the housekeeper who is an illegal immigrant. The two lonely souls, bound by a shared sense of displacement and unfulfilled dreams.

Suddenly, Elsa's undocumented status throws their fragile world into chaos. Forced to flee, they embark on a spontaneous road trip across the American heartland, a rusty minivan their chariot, and Rocky's theme song their anthem.

Their journey, fueled by chai and samosas, becomes a hilarious and heartwarming adventure. They face small-town prejudice, dodge immigration officials, and navigate the quirky Americana landscape. Shiv finally gets his Rocky moment, hi...
