Shararat 2002

Shararat is a 2002 Indian Bollywood fantasy comedy film. It stars Abhishek Bachchan, Hrishita Bhatt and Jugal Hansraj. The story follows the misadventures of three generations of a family living together in a house. The eldest, Nani (played by Farida Jalal) is a witch with magical powers; her granddaughter, Jiya (Hrishita Bhatt) has inherited some of those powers; and her great-grandson, Dhruv (Jugal Hansraj), is constantly getting into trouble due to his mischievous nature. When Dhruv accidentally causes chaos in the city thanks to his wish-granting abilities, it is up to Jiya and Nani to save him from the consequences. Along the way, they teach him the importance of responsibility and the power of love. The movie follows the trio on their wild journey filled with comical situations, misunderstandings and magical adventures. In the end, they learn the true power of friendship, family and love. Shararat is an entertaining family movie that teaches us about the importance of having fun and being responsible.
