Sharaabi 1984

Sharaabi is a 1984 Indian Bollywood drama film directed by Prakash Mehra. It stars Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Prada and Pran in lead roles. The story revolves around the life of an alcoholic named Vicky Kapoor (Bachchan), who is suffering from depression due to his father's death. He then meets Neelu (Jaya Prada) and falls in love with her. However, his alcoholism soon leads to their break-up. Vicky's friends try to help him come out of his depression and alcoholism, but he continues to drink excessively. Finally, after a lot of struggle, Vicky is able to overcome his addiction and reunite with Neelu. In the end, Vicky and Neelu marry each other and live happily ever after.
