Shagird is a 2011 Bollywood crime drama film about an honest police officer's mission to take down a powerful gangster in Mumbai. The story follows Inspector Khan, a brave and determined police officer who is determined to bring down the dreaded gangster, Shamsher Singh. With the help of his team, Khan is able to gather enough evidence to finally arrest the criminal. After being tried in court, Shamsher Singh is sentenced to life imprisonment. Khan is celebrated for his feat by everyone, including the media. However, he soon realizes that the task was not as easy as it seemed. He faces a number of challenges and risks his own safety in order to protect the innocent from Shamsher's wrath. In the end, Khan succeeds in bringing the criminal to justice and restoring peace to the city.
