Seeta Aur Geeta 1972

Seeta Aur Geeta is a 1972 Bollywood comedy-drama film directed by Ramesh Sippy. It stars Hema Malini in a dual role as identical twins, Seeta and Geeta. The story follows the lives of two estranged twin sisters who were separated at birth. Seeta grows up to be a timid and meek girl living with her cruel aunt, while Geeta is a carefree tomboy living on the streets. When their paths cross, Geeta takes Seeta's place and pretends to be her in order to help her out of her difficult situation. In the process she falls in love with a wealthy man and helps Seeta reclaim her rightful inheritance. In the end, the sisters are reunited and Seeta finds true happiness and freedom.
