Satyagraha 2013

Satyagraha is an Indian political drama film directed by Prakash Jha. It stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Manoj Bajpayee, Arjun Rampal and Amrita Rao. The story follows the life of a middle-class man named Dwarka Anand, played by Bachchan, who had a successful career as a lawyer. After being forced to retire due to age, he decides to take up social activism and fight against corrupt politicians. He forms a group called Satyagraha, which begins to gain attention and support from the public. With the help of his friend and journalist, Esha, Dwarka uncovers several layers of corruption in the government that eventually leads to a major political scandal. Despite facing numerous obstacles, Dwarka and his team are able to bring justice. In the end, Dwarka's Satyagraha movement succeeds and the government is forced to take corrective steps. Satyagraha shows how an ordinary citizen can make a difference in society by fighting against injustice and corruption.
