Sasural is a 1984 Bollywood film about the life of a family in India. The story follows Kishan (Jeetendra), an honest and hardworking man who lives with his wife, Kamla (Rekha), and two sons in a small rural village. When Kishan is offered a job in the city, he moves his family to Mumbai to start a new life. They struggle to adjust to their new environment but eventually make a home for themselves there. Kishan's eldest son, Raju (Anil Kapoor), falls in love with the daughter of a wealthy businessman, but her father disapproves of the match. Despite the obstacles they face, Kishan and Kamla remain devoted to each other and to their children, and ultimately Raju and his beloved are united in marriage. This film celebrates the resilience and strength of the human spirit and the power of love in the face of adversity.
