Story

Sanyasi is a 1975 Indian Hindi-language film directed by Subodh Mukherji. It stars Shashi Kapoor and Hema Malini in lead roles. The story follows the journey of an unemployed man, Raju (Shashi Kapoor), who is struggling to find a job and ends up working as a laborer. He meets a beautiful girl, Radha (Hema Malini), and falls in love with her. However, Radha's father is opposed to their relationship and sends her away to another village. Raju leaves his home to find her and ultimately succeeds in uniting with her. The two get married and start a new life together. Raju then becomes a successful businessman, but when he discovers that Radha is pregnant, he decides to renounce his wealth and become a sanyasi (ascetic). In the end, he finds true peace within himself and blissfully accepts his fate.
