Samay Bada Balwan is a Hindi language film about the struggle of a young man, Rohan, to make it big in the city. He moves from his small village to Mumbai with a dream of becoming a successful singer. However, instead of fulfilling his dreams, he finds himself struggling to make ends meet. He encounters many obstacles along the way, including poverty, corruption and exploitation. In order to survive, he takes up a job as a security guard in a local factory. With just one stroke of luck, he meets a music director who recognises his talent and offers him an opportunity to showcase his singing ability.
