Story

Sahibaan is a 1993 Indian drama film directed by Ramesh Talwar. It stars Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit and Rahul Roy in the lead roles. The story centers around two lovers, Sahiba (Madhuri Dixit) and Sahir (Rahul Roy), who are separated due to family circumstances. Sahir leaves his village and moves to the city, while Sahiba remains behind with her father. After several years, Sahir returns home to find that Sahiba is now married to his brother, Rajbir (Sanjay Dutt). Sahiba and Sahir are still in love and decide to meet up secretly. However, their plans are foiled by Rajbir, who is unaware of their relationship. Sahir eventually decides to leave town, leaving Sahiba heartbroken. In the end, Rajbir realizes what has happened and reunites the two lovers. Sahibaan is a romantic drama which explores the lengths people will go to for true love.
