Sadiyaan 2010

: Sadiyaan is a romantic drama set in India and Canada. It tells the story of a Punjabi family living in Punjab, India. The patriarch of the family, Bhupinder Singh, is a wealthy businessman who lives with his wife, their two sons, and their daughter, Simran. Simran falls in love with an orphaned Canadian Sikh named Rajvir, and the two plan to wed. However, Bhupinder does not approve of the union and instead arranges for Simran to marry a rich man from India. Simran and Rajvir elope and travel to Canada, where they are married. In spite of their differences, Bhupinder eventually accepts the couple and visits them in Canada. He reconciles with his daughter and son-in-law and eventually comes to terms with their decision. The film ends with the entire family reunited and happy. Sadiyaan is a heartfelt story of cultural clashes, family relationships, and true love.
