Saanjh 2017

Saanjh is a 2017 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Ajitpal Singh. The story revolves around Aarohi, a young girl whose life takes a dramatic turn when her family decides to move from their village in Uttarakhand and settle in Delhi. In the big city, Aarohi struggles to adjust to her new environment, feeling like an outsider among her peers. She meets Arjun, a local boy who helps her acclimate to her new life. As the two become close, they learn to appreciate each other’s differences. Together they explore the city and fall in love. When Aarohi’s parents discover their relationship, they are furious and forbid them from seeing each other. But Aarohi and Arjun fight for their love and, with the help of their friends and family, eventually win their parents’ approval. In the end, both Aarohi and Arjun gain a fuller understanding of themselves and their place in the world.
