Saajan is a story about three individuals who are brought together by fate. The first is Aman, an introverted and lonely accountant who lives in Mumbai. He meets Pooja, a vivacious young woman who has come to the city from her rural home town to pursue her dreams of becoming a model and actress. The second individual is Aashish, a kind-hearted orphan who works in Aman's office. When Aashish discovers that he and Pooja have a mutual acquaintance, he secretly arranges for them to meet. This eventually leads to a close friendship between Aman and Pooja, as well as a romance. Eventually it is revealed that Aashish is actually in love with Pooja and has been trying to get her attention for some time. In the end, Aman realises his feelings for Pooja and decides to let her go so she can be with Aashish. Saajan is a touching story about how love can bring people together, even if circumstances make it seem impossible.
