Ribbon 2017

Ribbon is a 2017 Bollywood drama film directed by Rakhee Sandilya. The story follows the life of a young woman, Sahana, living in small-town India with her parents and siblings. When she marries against her family’s wishes, she embarks on a journey to discover herself and her identity. Along the way, she meets people who challenge her view of the world and her own sense of self. Sahana's journey leads her to confront patriarchy, religious divides, and women’s rights as she finds her own strength and purpose. In the end, she develops the courage to fight for her own freedom and make her own choices. Through this process, Sahana learns that despite the obstacles she faces, she has the power to create the life she wants.
