Story

Rang De Basanti is a 2006 Indian drama film that follows a group of students who take up arms against the government to fight for freedom and justice. The story begins with Sue, an English documentary filmmaker, who comes to India to make a film on Indian freedom fighters with her friend, DJ. She meets a group of college friends who are passionate about starting their own campaign for change. They agree to help Sue with her documentary and as they do, they become inspired to take matters into their own hands. With DJ's help, the group decides to form a revolutionary movement to bring about social change in the country. As they fight against corruption and injustice, the group also learns the importance of standing up for what’s right and fighting for the greater good. Despite facing numerous obstacles, they manage to succeed in their mission.
