Story

Raees is a 2017 Indian action crime thriller film directed by Rahul Dholakia and produced by Gauri Khan, Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar. The story follows the journey of an illegal liquor dealer in Gujarat named Raees (Shah Rukh Khan), who faces many obstacles due to his line of work. He begins to build a successful business empire, however this draws the attention of the police and a well-known politician who are determined to put a stop to his activities. Raees soon finds himself running from the law while trying to protect his business and loved ones, all while attempting to stay one step ahead of the authorities. In the end, Raees finds redemption and justice after a long and hard-fought battle.
