Qayamat 1983

Qayamat is a 1983 Bollywood action-drama film directed by Raj N. Sippy. The movie stars Dharmendra, Amitabh Bachchan, Ajit and Kimi Katkar in lead roles. The story follows an honest police officer, Inspector Arjun Singh (Dharmendra), who is assigned to arrest the powerful bandit Jageera (Ajit). Although Arjun is successful in apprehending Jageera, he soon finds himself framed for a murder committed by Jageera. Arjun is thrown into jail, leaving his wife Seema (Kimi Katkar) to fend for herself. Meanwhile, an old friend of Arjun's, Suraj (Amitabh Bachchan), is also attempting to capture Jageera. As the two valiant heroes battle it out with the villain, they eventually prevail and justice is served. In the end, Arjun and Suraj are hailed as heroes and the evil-doer Jageera is brought to justice.
