Story

Prem Rog is a 1982 romantic drama film directed by Raj Kapoor. The story focuses on the love story of a young couple, Manju (Rishi Kapoor) and Radha (Padmini Kolhapure). Manju's father, Shekhar (Nana Patekar), is a wealthy zamindar (landlord) who is opposed to his son's relationship with Radha because she is from a lower social class. As their love deepens, Shekhar attempts to keep them apart. Manju and Radha remain committed to their love, and after several failed attempts by Shekhar to separate them, they finally elope. When Shekhar learns of this, he is devastated and heartbroken. However, the two eventually return home, and in the end, Shekhar accepts their love and allows them to marry. Prem Rog is ultimately a story of love and acceptance, demonstrating that there should be no barriers when it comes to finding true love.
