Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is a 2015 Bollywood romantic drama film directed by Sooraj Barjatya and starring Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor. The story follows Prem, a prince who disguises himself as a lookalike commoner to find his lost love amidst a conspiracy. Prem falls in love with Maithili, a princess from an exiled kingdom. As they plan to get married, a conspiracy is hatched to separate them. Prem is then replaced by a lookalike Vijay, a street performer. Vijay and Maithili soon fall in love, but Prem is determined to reunite with Maithili and expose the conspiracy. With the help of his family and friends, he succeeds in exposing the truth and uniting with Maithili. In the end, the couple get married and the throne of the exiled kingdom is restored. Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is a story of love, trust and sacrifice. It shows that even when faced with conspiracies, true love can always win.
