Piku 2015

Piku is a 2015 Indian comedy-drama film directed by Shoojit Sircar and starring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Irrfan Khan. The story follows the life of a Bengali architect living in Delhi, Piku Banerjee (Padukone), and her aging father Bhashkor (Bachchan). As Bhashkor's health deteriorates, he becomes increasingly dependent on Piku, who struggles to balance her career and personal life while trying to keep her father happy. When Bhashkor insists on taking a road trip from Delhi to Kolkata, Piku hires Rana Chaudhary (Khan), a cab driver from Lucknow, to drive them. Along the way, Piku and Rana develop an unlikely friendship and discover they have more in common than they thought. Through this journey, Piku learns to accept her father's condition and appreciate their relationship. In the end, she finds peace and understanding, and the three of them return home safely.
