Parvarish is a 1958 Indian musical drama film directed by Manmohan Desai and starring Ashok Kumar, Kishore Kumar, and Meena Kumari. It is about two brothers who are divided by their different lifestyles. The elder brother, Deepak, is a successful lawyer who lives with his traditional Indian family, while the younger brother, Shankar, is an orphaned street urchin who is taken in by Deepak's family. Deepak is initially resentful of Shankar, but eventually the two grow to love each other as brothers. Through the trials and tribulations of life, Deepak and Shankar learn to support one another and build a strong bond. In the end, the brothers prove that family is more important than anything else, and that love can overcome any obstacle. Parvarish is a timeless tale of the power of love and family bonds.
