Pari 2018

Pari is a 2018 Indian horror film, directed by Prosit Roy. The story follows a young woman named Rukhsana, who is living with her abusive husband. After hearing of a supernatural entity called "pishach", she becomes possessed and starts to show strange behavior. Her husband gets increasingly scared and seeks help from a nearby occultist. The occultist tells them that Rukhsana is under the control of a Djinn, which can only be released through an ancient ritual. With the help of a spiritual healer, they perform the ritual and Rukhsana is freed from the Djinn's control. However, the Djinn still remains in the form of a black dog, and follows Rukhsana everywhere. As more horrifying events occur, the couple soon realizes that the Djinn is trying to take Rukhsana away. They must find a way to stop the Djinn before it's too late. In the end, their efforts pay off and Rukhsana is saved.
