Paras 1971

Paras is a 1971 Hindi film about a young man, Shyam, who falls in love with a girl called Radha. After meeting her, he decides to pursue her despite the disapproval of her parents. He continues to woo her and eventually wins her over. They decide to get married but soon afterwards, Shyam gets arrested for being involved in a murder. With the help of his best friend, Shyam manages to prove his innocence and they both reunite and get married. The couple begin a happy life together, until Shyam finds out that Radha's family was responsible for the death of his father. Despite this, he decides to forgive them and the story ends on a positive note with the two families reconciling. Paras is a story of love overcoming obstacles and of forgiveness prevailing in the end.
