Parampara 1993

Parampara is a 1993 Bollywood drama film directed by Yash Chopra. It tells the story of two generations of friends in rural India: a retired judge (Amitabh Bachchan) and his childhood friend, now a successful businessman (Dilip Kumar). The judge has also taken in his orphaned nephew, who is in love with the daughter of the businessman. When the businessman refuses to accept the match due to class differences, the judge takes it upon himself to reunite the two lovers. His efforts are complicated by the fact that the businessman's son (Aamir Khan) has been promised to another woman and is now caught between duty and love. In the end, the judge manages to reunite the two couples despite all odds, restoring the bond of friendship and respect between the two families.
