Papa Kehte Hai is a 1996 Indian family drama directed by Mahesh Bhatt. It stars Jugal Hansraj and Mayuri Kango as the lead protagonists, and revolves around the story of a young man who goes against his father's wishes to study engineering and instead pursues his dream of becoming a singer.
