Opera House is a 1961 musical drama film directed by Michael Curtiz and starring Robert Goulet, Carolyn Jones, and Kurt Kasznar. The film tells the story of Robert Stone, an opera singer who is given the opportunity to sing at the Metropolitan Opera House in New York City. He moves there with his wife and daughter but finds that the pressures of performing in such a prestigious venue are too much for him. He struggles with his own doubts and fears, as well as the expectations from his family and the audience. In the end, he ultimately triumphs and performs a memorable performance that is celebrated by all. Despite the obstacles, Robert Stone learns to accept and embrace the challenge of performing on a grand stage.
