Story

Nazrana is a 1961 Indian film about a poor man, Raja, who is in love with a wealthy woman named Bindiya. She is promised to another man by her father, but Raja makes an attempt to win her heart. He takes a job as a driver and works hard to save enough money to buy her a necklace, the nazrana. Eventually, Bindiya's father agrees to the marriage and Raja and Bindiya are married. However, Bindiya's father soon finds out that his new son-in-law is penniless and casts him out. Raja and Bindiya must then struggle to make ends meet, but eventually, they manage to build a successful business. In the end, the couple is reunited with Bindiya's family when they give her nazrana to show their acceptance of their relationship.
