Nayee Padosan 2003

Nayee Padosan is a 2003 Indian comedy film. The story follows the life of Bindu, a young woman who moves to a new neighbourhood and falls in love with her neighbour, Vicky. Bindu's family are not impressed with her choice of suitor and decide to find her a more suitable match. To this end, they enlist the help of their neighbour, Masterji, who sets up a series of humorous ruses to try and bring Bindu and Vicky together. In the end, all of the schemes fail and Bindu's parents accept Vicky as her suitor. The film is a light-hearted exploration of love, family and relationships, and the hilarious antics that ensue when two people come from very different backgrounds.
