Naukar 1943

Naukar is a 1943 Indian Hindi language drama film directed by M. Sadiq and starring Durga Khote, Motilal and Noor Mohammed Charlie. The story revolves around two close friends, Ramu and Gopal, who work as servants in the same wealthy household. Despite their friendship, differences arise between them when Gopal falls in love with the daughter of the house, Leela. Ramu, though he loves her too, believes that Gopal should marry Leela. To prove his loyalty to his friend, Ramu sacrifices his own feelings and persuades Gopal to marry Leela. In the end, Gopal and Leela are married, and Ramu discovers that his selfless act has brought him the happiness he sought.
