Story

Nastik is a 1983 Hindi drama film directed by Pramod Chakravorty and starring Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini. The story follows an atheist (Bachchan) who has lost faith in God after the death of his daughter. He blames God for her death, and his wife (Malini) tries to bring him back to faith. Eventually, the couple's son comes down with a life-threatening illness, and the father turns to God for help and guidance. Through this experience, he learns to appreciate the power of faith and accept that not everything can be explained logically. In the end, his son is cured, and the family is reunited in faith.
