To make ends meet, she decides to take up dancing at the court of the Maharaja, but is scorned by the other dancers. Undeterred, Sita works hard to become a master of the art, eventually winning the admiration of everyone in the court. When the Maharaja makes an unexpected announcement, Sita finds out that her late husband was actually the illegitimate son of the King and not just a courtier.
