Story

Na-Insaafi is a 1989 Indian Hindi-language drama film directed by Rajat Rakshit. It stars Anil Kapoor, Padmini Kolhapure, Shabana Azmi and Om Puri. The story follows the life of a small village girl, Sona (Padmini Kolhapure). She is a naive and innocent girl who is in love with Sunder (Anil Kapoor). Sunder is a young man from an affluent family and has been promised to another woman in marriage. Despite this, Sunder and Sona continue to meet each other secretly. However, one day, Sona is abducted and raped by a local politician's son, Kahn Singh (Om Puri). Sona faces immense stigma and humiliation from her own family, as well as from the villagers. The police also refuse to help her due to political pressure from the local politician. In order to restore justice, Sona teams up with her lawyer friend, Advocate Meena (Shabana Azmi).
