Story

Muskurahat is a 1943 Indian film directed by Khan Bahadur and starring Noor Jehan as the female lead. The story revolves around two young lovers, Salim and Zohra, who are separated due to their families' disapproval of their relationship. Zohra is sent away to be married off to another man while Salim is left in despair. However, Salim's friends come up with a plan to reunite them. They travel to Zohra's village and set up a tent in a nearby forest. Through a series of events, Salim is able to prove his love to Zohra and the two are eventually reunited. Muskurahat is a classic romantic drama that highlights the power of true love in the face of family opposition. Despite the obstacles, Salim and Zohra are ultimately able to find happiness together.
