Miss Mary is a 1957 Bollywood romantic drama film directed by Raja Nawathe. The story revolves around the titular character Mary D'Souza (Meena Kumari) who is a young, kind-hearted woman living in a small Indian village with her father and siblings. She works hard to make ends meet and takes care of her family. One day, she meets a wealthy man named Jai Singh (Rajendra Kumar), who falls in love with her. Despite their different backgrounds, the two begin a romance and eventually get married. However, things take a turn when Jai's business fails and he must take a loan from Mary's father, which puts a strain on their marriage. In the end, Mary is able to forgive her husband and they are reconciled. Despite some obstacles, Miss Mary proves that true love will prevail.
