Story

Mere Jeevan Saathi is a 2006 Indian romantic drama film starring Akshay Kumar and Karisma Kapoor. The film revolves around three characters: Neha, Raj and Pooja. Neha is a hardworking and ambitious young woman who dreams of becoming the president of her company. Raj, on the other hand, is a wealthy but irresponsible playboy. In an attempt to save his family's business, he proposes marriage to Neha. Despite her initial resistance, Neha eventually agrees as she needs money for her mother's medical treatment. Meanwhile, Pooja is a poor village girl who also has feelings for Raj. After the marriage, Neha discovers that Raj had been cheating on her with Pooja. The film follows Neha as she seeks a divorce from Raj and finds true love in the end. In conclusion, Mere Jeevan Saathi tells a story of a woman who struggles to find her independence in a society where women are expected to be dependent on men.
