Story

Mere Bhaiya is a Hindi movie released in 1972, starring Sanjeev Kumar and Sharmila Tagore. The story centers around two brothers, Raghu and Raja, who live in a small town in India. Raghu is the elder brother and takes care of the family's financial responsibilities while Raja is the younger brother and a carefree spirit. One day, their father passes away suddenly and the two brothers are left to fend for themselves. Raghu takes on a job at a local factory to make ends meet while Raja continues his carefree life. However, soon enough Raja gets into trouble with the law due to his irresponsible behaviour and finds himself behind bars. This puts a strain on Raghu, who must now take care of Raja as well as the entire family. After much struggle and hardship, Raghu eventually succeeds and the two brothers become closer than ever before. In the end, they are able to reunite their family and live happily ever after.
