Meherbaan 1993

Meherbaan is the story of a young man named Rajeev (Salman Khan) who works in a small village in India. Rajeev has been in love with his childhood friend, Sanjana (Karisma Kapoor), since they were children. After years of separation, they reunite and fall in love again. Rajeev proposes to Sanjana and she accepts, but their happiness is short lived when Sanjana's father steps into their lives and demands that Rajeev leave her daughter alone. Rajeev is devastated and decides to leave the village in search of a better life. He finds work in a big city and eventually meets another woman, Meenakshi (Raveena Tandon). They form a bond and Rajeev begins to fall in love with her. Meanwhile, Sanjana's father dies and she finally understands that Rajeev truly loves her. She comes to the city to find him and they are reunited, realizing that they still have feelings for each other after all these years.
