Story

Mantra is a 2016 Indian psychological thriller film directed by Nicholas Kharkongor. The film follows the story of Meera, a young woman with an unfulfilled dream of becoming a successful singer. After her dreams are dashed, she meets a mysterious guru who gives her a magical mantra which he says will make all of her dreams come true. However, soon after using the mantra, Meera discovers that it has unleashed dark forces within her. As she struggles to control them, she finds out that the guru's mantra was not just a way to get what she wanted, but a lesson in managing her own desires and fears. Meera eventually learns to accept the darkness within her and use it as a source of strength and power. In the end, Meera succeeds in her dream of becoming a successful singer and living her life on her own terms.
