Meethi Meethi Baatein is a romantic comedy-drama film about two strangers who are brought together by fate. Gaurav (Abhay Deol) is a wealthy businessman, and Ayesha (Soha Ali Khan) is a modern, independent girl. They meet in an unusual way, as they both get stuck in an elevator during a power failure. As they try to pass the time, they get to know each other and soon realize that they have more in common than they imagined. Gaurav and Ayesha form a strong friendship, and eventually fall in love. Despite their differences, they manage to overcome all obstacles and finally get married.
