Story

Majboor (1989) is an Indian drama film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Prada, and Prem Chopra. The movie follows the story of an honest lawyer named Rajeshwar who decides to take on a case involving a young girl named Rama. Rajeshwar discovers that Rama's stepfather has been abusing her, and though he wants to help her, his bureaucrat boss sees it as a way to gain political power and uses it as an opportunity to blackmail Rajeshwar. When Rama's stepfather finds out about the case, he orders his henchmen to kill Rajeshwar. However, Rajeshwar manages to protect himself with the help of a local gangster and convinces them to help him take down the evil stepfather. Ultimately, Rajeshwar succeeds in rescuing Rama and bringing her abuser to justice. The movie is a testament to the power of justice and how it can bring peace and justice to those in need.
