Main Tere Liye 1988

Main Tere Liye is a romantic drama about Anand and Pooja who are deeply in love but face obstacles to their union. Anand, a successful doctor, is of a higher caste than Pooja, whose father has recently died and left her family destitute. Anand's parents refuse to accept the marriage due to their different social standings and try to break them apart. Despite all the difficulties, Anand and Pooja remain devoted to each other and eventually get married against his family's wishes. After a few years, they have a daughter and live happily together. However, tragedy strikes when Pooja dies after a long illness. Anand is devastated and cannot cope with the loss. He finds solace in his daughter and resolves to fulfill his wife's wish of having a better life for her. With his daughter's support, he begins to rebuild his life and remarries.
