Main Sundar Hoon 1971

Main Sunder Hoon is the story of an elderly man named Sunder, who lives in a small village in India. He is an orphan and lives alone with his faithful dog, Raju. When a new family moves to the village, they bring along their daughter, Guddi. Sunder quickly befriends Guddi, and she helps him to overcome his loneliness. Unfortunately, Guddi's family disapproves of their friendship, and eventually Guddi is sent away. Sunder is heartbroken, and decides to leave the village to find her. His journey takes him to the big city, where he experiences many adventures and meets a wide range of people. Eventually, Sunder finds Guddi and is reunited with her, only to discover that her family has already arranged for her marriage. Devastated, he returns home, but is happy to see that Raju has been faithfully waiting for him. In the end, Sunder and Guddi are able to remain friends, and Sunder finds peace in his life.
